Come one, come all to this hilarious night of family fun.
Join Maker Bolder and internationally accomplished comedienne, Pam Farone for two hours of laughing and learning. You’ll particularly enjoy the fun as you practice improv and play alongside your kids!
This workshop will focus on fun, safe activities that you’ll do in small and large groups. No prior acting or improv experience needed. Wear comfortable clothes and prepare to be active and have fun! You will participate in games and exercises that will introduce you to improv and allow you to experience it’s many benefits: enhanced listening, verbal expression and cooperation along with just letting go and having fun.
Appropriate for children 10 and older. Not a drop-off event, this is for you and your kids to enjoy together!

About Pam Farone
Pam Farone has been studying and performing improv for over 20 years. Her passion for the art form led her to move to Chicago and Los Angeles to study with improv legends like Neil Flynn (Scrubs), Dave Razowsky, Joe Bill, Charna Halpern and Chris Barnes (Return to Me). Pam was an instructor for the Bovine Metropolis Theater in Denver (owned by her brother) and has conducted independent workshops for groups/organizations like the University of Colorado, The People’s Clinic in Boulder, the Colorado Romance Writer’s, The Center for Spiritual Living, Colorado Free University, and others. Pam has performed with numerous sketch and improv groups including the ‘Box Fans’ who were featured in the 2005 Chicago Improv Festival and ‘Barely Legal’ in Los Angeles with Kate Flannery from NBC’s ‘The Office’.
Pam has her master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and has been working in the field of training, human resources and performance enhancement. She received her coach training at Coach University and is a Certified Myers-Briggs Practitioner.
Who should attend?
Recommended for 10 years old and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No theater or improv experience required. Wear comfy clothes and come prepared to move around a lot! (Oh, and eat dinner first, we’ll have access to drinking water, but food is not provided.)
Got some stage fright?
Don’t worry! These are fun games to play in groups and enjoy with your famiily. You won’t be asked to perform alone on a stage and you can always decline to play an Improv Game if you’re uncomfortable. That said, we think you’ll be having so much fun, you’ll forget all about your fright! Lean in. Jump in. So much fun!

Mackintosh Academy has plenty of parking right at the school, or at the nearby church.
